About Tandli
What is Tandli?
Why we built it
Everyday routines — getting dressed, brushing teeth, bedtime — can be some of the hardest moments of the day for autistic and neurodivergent children and the grown-ups who love them. The strategies that help are well known: visual schedules, first-then structure, task analysis, and a familiar voice. Tandli brings them together in one calm app, and puts a parent’s own voice at the centre of it.
What we believe
- Affirming, not deficit-based. We build for how children experience the world, not to “fix” them.
- Calm over clever. Low-sensory, uncluttered, predictable. One step at a time.
- Private by design. Everything stays on your device — no accounts, no tracking, no ads.
- Grown-ups stay in control. You record the prompts, choose the pictures, and set the rewards.
How we write our content
Our guides and routine walkthroughs describe widely-used approaches drawn from special education, speech and occupational therapy, and parent practice. We aim to be accurate, practical, and plainly written, and we cite reputable sources where relevant. Health and developmental topics are reviewed for accuracy, and we add professional review credits to articles as reviewers come on board.
Tandli’s content and the app are educational support tools. They are not a medical device and not a substitute for professional diagnosis, assessment, or therapy. Always follow the advice of your child’s qualified professionals.
