Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Tandli iOS app and this website (tandli.app). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them. Questions? Email hello@tandli.app.
Important: what Tandli is (and isn’t)
Tandli is an educational support tool that helps children follow everyday routines using visual schedules, recorded prompts, and rewards. Tandli is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, assessment, or therapy. Nothing in the app or on this website is medical, clinical, psychological, or behavioural advice. Always follow the guidance of your child’s qualified professionals.
Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Tandli on Apple devices you own or control, for your family’s or your practice’s own use, in line with these terms and the App Store terms. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app, and to supervise children’s use appropriately.
Subscriptions & free trial
- Free trial. New subscribers get a 14-day free trial. You won’t be charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.
- Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account, at the price shown in the app for your region.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing & cancelling. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period ends.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are subject to Apple’s policies. Please contact Apple for billing and refund requests.
Acceptable use
Use Tandli lawfully and respectfully. Don’t use it to harm anyone, to upload unlawful content, to interfere with the service, or to attempt to access it in ways we don’t intend.
Your content
Content you create in the app (activities, pictures, recordings, settings) is yours and stays on your device. Because we don’t collect it, you are responsible for backing it up (for example via your device’s backup features).
Intellectual property
Tandli, its name, design, illustrations, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don’t transfer any ownership to you beyond the limited licence above.
The website & waitlist
This website is provided for information and to let you join a launch waitlist. Joining the waitlist means we may email you about Tandli’s launch, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may change or remove website content at any time.
Disclaimers
The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outcomes for any child are guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Apple’s terms
Because Tandli is distributed through the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (the standard EULA) also applies to your use of the app. Where these terms and Apple’s standard EULA conflict for the app, the stricter protection for you applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or for support of it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Tandli evolves. We’ll update the “last updated” date, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
